1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
1. Must have a current, valid Wyoming State RN license.
2. Must have current, valid BLS, or must obtain within first 60 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH.

EXPERIENCE:
1. Previous experience as an RN preferred.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
ECF RN - Reporting to the ECF Administrator, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care and prescribes, delegates and coordinates the nursing care provided throughout the hospital. All care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State and Local Standards, Guidelines, and Regulations which govern IMH and ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

SHIFT: There is one, full-time benefited position.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Gerontological certification encouraged.
  • Previous Long Term Care experience preferred.
  • Previous clinical medical/surgical experience accepted.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES UNIT R! N - Reporting to the Cancer Center Director, the SPU/Infusion ! RN provides care to patients by administering fluids, medication or blood products through injections in patients' veins or by maintaining arterial catheters. The SPU/Infusion RN is responsible for monitoring patients, maintaining their tubing and bandages, and recognizing potential drug interaction and complications. All care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State, Local Standards, Rules, Regulations and Guidelines to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

SHIFT: There is one part-time, benefited position available.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must obtain ACLS within first year of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH.
  • Must be competent to administer conscious sedation, and maintains competency throughout employment with IMH.
  • Previous experience with the administration of chemotherapy preferred.
BEHAVIORAL HEALT! H RN - Reporting to the Director BHS, the RN provides direct nursing care and prescribes, delegates and coordinates the nursing care provided throughout IMH. Care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines, rules and regulations which govern our facility and ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

SHIFT: Please note there are two part-time, benefited positions available.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must certify in a nonviolence crisis intervention (MANDT) course within the first four months of hire and re-certify every year thereafter.

FAMILY CARE RN - Reporting to the Clinical Director of the Family Care Unit, the Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care and prescribes, delegates and coordinates the nursing care provided throughout the hospital. All care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State and Local Stan! dards, Guidelines, and Regulations which govern IMH and ensure that the! highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

SHIFT: There is one full-time, benefited position available.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have current, valid ACLS certification or must obtain within one (1) year of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH, if circulating nurse or recovery room for C-section, as determined by the Department Director.
  • Must have current, valid NRP certification or must obtain within one (1) year of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH.
  • Must pass pediatric medication test within the first year of hire.
  • Must complete PALS class or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within one (1) year of completing CBO for Pediatrics. Must maintain the credentials throughout employment with IMH. Courses will be completed as unit staffing and course scheduling allows, not to exceed 18 months after completion of CBO.

  • Nurses who are cross trained in Labor and Delivery must attend Basic Electronic Fetal Monitoring class within the first year of completing the CBO for the department and must complete the Intermediate class within 6 months after successful completion of the Basic Fetal Monitoring class. Must complete the Advanced Electronic Fetal monitoring class every two years thereafter.
  • All staff will be training in Post Partum, Normal Nursery, GYN, Med/Surg, and one other specialty area. After 2 years of hire, the employee will be trained in another specialty area and after three years, a third area. Specialty areas will be assigned by the department director, and additional specialty training may be required as needed. Staff is required to maintain the requirements of each area in which they have been trained unless it has been determined otherwise by the Clinical Director.
