Registered Nurse

Location: Laramie, Wyoming

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
1. Must have a current, valid Wyoming State RN license.

! 2. Must have current, valid BLS, or must obtain within first 60 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH.

EXPERIENCE:
1. Previous experience as an RN preferred.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:
Operating Room RN - Reporting to the Administrative Director of Peri-Operative Services, the RN provides direct nursing care and prescribes, delegates, and coordinates the nursing care provided throughout IMH. All care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State and Local rules, regulations, and guidelines which govern IMH.

SHIFT: This is a full-time, benefited position.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must obtain ACLS within one year of hire and must maintain credential if taking call or administering conscious sedation.

Emergency Department RN - Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, the RN provides direct nursing care to patients and prescribes delegate! s and coordinates the nursing care provided at IMH. Nursing ca! re, treatment and services are within current Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations which govern IMH and ensures that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

SHIFT: This is a full-time, benefited position.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have ACLS certification within six months of hire and must maintain throughout employment with IMH.
  • Must have PALS certification within six months of hire and must maintain throughout employment with IMH.
  • Must have recent (within 2 years) experience in a clinical nurse setting.
  • Must certify in a nonviolence crisis intervention (MANDT) course within the first six months of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment with IMH.
  • Must complete procedural sedation module within six (6) months of hire and every two (2) years thereafter throughout employment with IMH.
  • TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Cours! e) and ENPC (Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course) within one year of hire and maintained throughout employment with IMH strongly recommended.
  • CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) strongly recommended.
  • ABLS (Advanced Burn Life Support) strongly recommended.
MED/SURG RN - Reporting to the Clinical Director of IP Medical/ICU, the RN provides direct nursing care and prescribes, delegates and coordinates the nursing care provided throughout IMH. Care, treatment and services provided are within current Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines, and rules and regulations which govern our facility and ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

SHIFT: There are one full-time and one part-time benefited positions.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Must complete telemetry course or demonstrate competency within one (1) year of hire and must demonstrate competency annually. ACLS Certification strongly e! ncouraged.
