The Assistant Coordinator, Trauma Registrar, performs quality improvement functions for Trauma Services. Supervises data coordinators and ensures data base accuracy and maintenance. Runs required reports and analyzes data; presents reports at trauma meetings. Collaborates with National and State Trauma Registry Banks to ensure compliance with requirements of planning, regulatory, inspecting agencies and Loma Linda University Medical C enter (LLUMC ) policies. Utilizes interpersonal skills to maximize excellence in customer service and professionalism; contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and client population. Performs other duties as needed.
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree in healthcare-related field preferred. Minimum two years in Trauma Registry with strong computer skills, medical terminology, and coding experience preferred. Current Driver's License and automobile insurance required.
