Location: Lander, Wyoming
Description: Lander Regional Hospital is hiring CNA-Med/Surg Part-time right now, this vacancy will be presented in Wyoming. The CNA/UNIT Clerk assists professional personnel by performing patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. Is accountable to the RN, Charge Nurse, or Manager. The Nurse Aide functions under the direct supervision of licensed personnel. Follows the guidelines described in the Code of Conduct Ethics and Compliance Program. 1. Prefer High School Graduate or equivalent.
2. Must have current CNA certificate from the Wyoming State Board of Nursing or attain within 16 weeks of hire date.
3. Must be able to withstand the stresses and demands of an active position as listed above in the Working Conditions Section.
4. Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately and effectively in English through both written and verbal correspondence.
5. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
6. Must have knowledge (through training) or experience in performing patient care activities for pediatric patients (age 0-17), adult patients ages (18-64), and geriatric patients (ages 65 ).
7. Basic computer data entry skills.
