Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a motivated Program Manager, Culture, Engagement and Integration located in Mesa, Arizona.

In this role, you will collaborate across various functions to strategize and deliver culture, engagement and integration activities in the Boeing Mesa site. Reporting to the Mesa Senior Site executive, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting processes and influence culture and engagement practices to support leaders and employees across the site, and develop a deeper understanding of our ever-changing business landscape at a site level.

The primary focus areas you will support are as follows: Employee cultural and engagement events, workforce operations (e.g. return from telecommuting and flexible work arrangements), Mesa integrated schedule management, and integration across key partner functions for well-coordinated delivery across Mesa site.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong passion for enhancing employee engagement, a keen ability to integrate across functions and demonstrated planning and project management skills.

  • Lead Mesa site recognition program

  • Lead Mesa site workforce and engagement strategy to include but not limited to: pipeline activities, community & veteran outreach, high schools, colleges, and universities

  • Lead and focal to the Mesa site & enterprise development program to include: interns, Leadership Next (LX), Career Opportunities Program (COP), Vertical Lift cohort, and Diversity Council.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Strategically define engagement activities to appropriate audiences, keeping the audience at the center of these activities

  • Lead stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and implement special events for employees, across the site to include: annual Fun-Run, Family Day, BRG events, holiday luncheons

  • Innovate and collaborate to ensure activities brings the best thinking and builds on the best successes from across the enterprise

  • Lead Gemba Walk, track actions, set success metrics, and measures impact

  • Partner closely with internal functional stakeholder including HR, Communications, IT, Boeing Global Engagement and Operations & external vendors

  • Lead ad hoc project teams as required

  • Develop and maintain site integrated schedule to include key program milestones, diversity and community events

  • Partner with Mesa Diversity Council and Boeing Resource Groups (BRGs) to enhance inclusion across the site

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ year of experience in working with multiple internal and external stakeholders such as business partner, customer, Finance, suppliers, etc. in planning and executing projects

  • 1+ year of experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions

  • 1+ year of experience leading business unit, sites, and/or multiple functions level projects working across management levels and executives

  • 1+ year of experience managing high level, high impact projects for Executives or Senior Leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ year of experience in data analytics and metric development

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate and navigate at all levels of the company

  • Able to lead and encourage cooperation of both managers and team personnel

  • Experience communicating, collaborating, and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range: $112,200 – $151,800
