ROLE SUMMARY Partners with Recruitment team to assist with recruitment and retention of talent into clinical and non-clinical positions. Partners with HR Assistant to provide customer service to employees, new hires, applicants, agency and contract employees, physicians, non-physician providers, students and guests.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provides support to the Recruitment department, including back-up to the HR Assistant. Shares responsibility for daily customer service needs including walk-in traffic and phones. 2. Emails and processes newly hired employeesâ required paperwork. 3. Works with Agency, temporary and contract personnel to ensure that required documentation has been received and a current contract is in place. 4. Notifies necessary parties of newly hired employees. 5. Assists potential applicants and newly hired employees who call or stop by the office with employment questions. 6. Processes and tracks sign-on and referral bonus and relocation payments. 7. Schedules travel arrangements and interviews, and develops itineraries when appropriate. 8. Makes job offers for entry level positions when appropriate. 9. Responsible for ensuring hiring process is flowing between HR and managers including screening and forwarding applications and all associated documents. 10. Coordinates communication with applicants.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Previous experience in recruitment or human resources and healthcare.
