A Registered Pharmacist provides prescribed medications, drugs, and other supplies for effective and appropriate patient phar! maceutical care according to professional standards and serves as a first-line source of drug information. The pharmacist serves as a patient therapeutic advocate with efforts directed toward continuous quality improvement of pharmacy services. Effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and health team members, while maintaining professional standards. Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and according to standard procedure; compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from the physician. A clinically competent pharmacist delivers care across the life span of: Newborn (0-28 days), pediatric (29 days-10 years), adolescent (11 years- 18 years), adult (19 years -55 years), geriatrics - (56 years ). Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and according to standard procedure; compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from the ph! ysician.
Graduate from an Accredited college of Pharm! acy.
1-3 years experience in hospital pharmacy preferred.
Licensed or licensed eligible in the state of Wyoming as a pharmacist.
