With over 60 beds and 35,000+ ER visits, our client is a rapidly growing health system that is nestled in one of THE BEST ski/outdoor recreation areas in the United States.

They have an immediate! opening for a superstar Director of Surgical Services to take their service line to the next level of patient care and satisfaction.

The selected candidate will provide leadership and budget management for the operations for the operating room, Outpatient Surgery, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Endoscopy, Central Sterile Processing and Environmental Services. Works with hospital staff and medical staff to provide coordinated, safe, quality care to the perioperative patient. Responsible for ensuring JCAHO standards and departmental and organization policies and procedures are followed. Assures staff competency and coordinates the education and orientation of staff in these departments. Responsible for the business and administrative activities of this department including formulating and managing budgets in addition to clinical management. Ability to provide direct clinical care to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric peri-operative patients. Delivers ser! vices according to the Scope of Service for Surgical Services.! Adheres to and practices in the Corporate Compliance Program and participates in Performance Improvement activities.

They are expanding the OR from 3 to 6 rooms and do general surgeries including outpatient and endoscopic procedures.

Qualifications :

• RN Licensed in Wyoming or eligible
• ACLS required at time of hire.
• A minimum of 5 years RN experience in surgical/critical care areas.
• Must possess progressive supervisory and management experience.
