Peri-Operative Educator

Location: Laramie, Wyoming

• Surgery

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care and education to staff. The RN/UBE prescribes, delegates and coordinates the nursin! g care and education provided within the unit. Nursing care must be within current Federal and State and Local Standards, Guidelines and Regulations that govern our facility to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

CREDENTIALS:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wyoming.
• Must have current, valid BLS, or must obtain within first 60 days of hire and must maintain credential throughout employment with IMH.
• Must become certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within the first year of hire and demonstrate competency every two years thereafter.
